How do you Apply?
Step 1:
Before you apply, please make sure you have read and understood:
- Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade's Child Protection Policy 2018
- Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade's Preventing Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Harassment Policy 2019
- Curtin's Travel Procedures for Students and associated Student Guidance Notes
- Curtin's Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy
- Curtin's Student Charter; and know whether you intend to apply for an OS-HELP loan which is added to your HECS debt.
- If you are hoping to travel with a friend, you will need their name, Faculty and Curtin Student ID. We cannot guarantee you will both be selected however we will try our best.
Step 2:
Before you apply, please make sure you have access to PDF versions of each of the following:
- Proof of your Australian citizenship (i.e. birth certificate, Australian passport or citizenship certificate).
- Your current Australian passport - must show your photo and passport details in colour. If you do not currently have an Australian passport, you can still proceed and may be selected, however you will need to take steps to obtain a passport. This also applies if your passport will expire before 23 July 2022. Students must travel on an Australian Passport
- Your recent Academic eRecord (extracted from OASIS after 6 July 2022): Click this link to find out how to download your Curtin Academic eRecord.
- Your current Curtin University Enrolment Advice (extracted from OASIS after 6 July 2022): Click this link to find out how to download your Enrolment Advice.
- Your International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate with the IHI identifier removed. If you do not currently have a passport, you can download your regular government-issued evidence of full vaccination and provide that (with the IHI identifier removed)
- Important: You must redact / remove your IHI identifier from the record you provide us as this is very sensitive information. - A copy of your Curtin Access Plan (only if you have one)
Step 3:
Once you have read the above and downloaded your documents and labelled them in the correct format, you can access the Application Form using the below details.
